About The Position

The Light Equipment Operator 2 operates finishing and packaging equipment at the company’s South Plant in Crawfordsville. This is a third-shift position working 8- to 10-hour shifts, with hours listed as 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. and possible overtime from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. The starting rate is $20.75–$25.00 per hour for day shift, with a 7% increase for second and third shift. The position includes two weeks’ vacation and training. The company provides all necessary tools and offers $100 safety shoe and $100 safety glasses reimbursements. The role involves setting up and adjusting machines, preparing job packets, entering final counts into software, and checking that the correct information is gathered at the start of each shift. The position requires standing throughout the shift and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, as well as frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

Ability to read and follow job specifications.
Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
Ability to do basic math and have basic computer knowledge.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently.
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
