Light Assembly Repair Clerk - 1st Shift
About The Position
The Light Assembly Repair Clerk supports customer service by maintaining lineside point-of-delivery locations throughout the campus. The role focuses on organizing and keeping delivery areas clean, identifying parts compliance issues, and coordinating with team members to meet customer needs efficiently while upholding company standards. The employee develops knowledge of delivery processes and order paperwork, communicates part issues to customers and management, and uses designated vehicles to deliver products to customers and return products to the warehouse as needed.
Responsibilities
- Kit parts at lineside point-of-delivery areas using kit carts, kit boxes, or other staging structures.
- Remove parts from vendor packaging at point-of-delivery areas as needed.
- Organize delivered orders at point-of-delivery areas according to customer needs and preferences.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in point-of-delivery areas, including removing unnecessary items and discarding trash.
- Follow safety policies and guidelines to help maintain a safe warehouse environment.
- Develop an understanding of delivery processes and order paperwork to place and organize parts accurately and respond to customer inquiries.
- Communicate part issues in delivery-point areas to customers and the management team.
- Use designated vehicles to deliver products to customers and return products to the warehouse as needed.
