Lift Operator
About The Position
Surge is seeking reliable, safety-conscious Lift Operators for a busy warehouse team in Newton, North Carolina. The role operates specialized warehouse equipment to move, retrieve, and store products while supporting accurate and efficient inventory flow. Candidates need at least six months of stock picker or reach truck experience; turret truck experience is a plus. Dependable attendance, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse are important. The work includes regularly lifting and moving materials weighing up to 65 pounds and required overtime, including additional full shifts as needed through the end of the year. Available schedules are Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM (day shift, $19.50 per hour); Monday–Thursday, 5:30 PM–4:00 AM (night shift, $19.50 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential); or Friday–Sunday, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM (weekend day shift, $19.50 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential). Requirements

Responsibilities
- Operate a stock picker, reach truck, or other approved material-handling equipment to move and retrieve products.
- Safely load, unload, transport, and organize warehouse inventory.
- Pick and stage products according to warehouse procedures and work instructions.
- Maintain an organized work area and follow warehouse safety guidelines.
- Inspect equipment before use and report mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 65 pounds; use team lifting or appropriate equipment for heavier items.
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and operational goals.
- Maintain dependable attendance and adapt to changing workload requirements.
- Work required overtime, including additional full shifts as needed through the end of the year.
