About The Position

The Lift Operations Supervisor is a full-time winter seasonal position responsible for assisting with all aspects of daily lift operations, supervising lift operations staff, prioritizing safety, and supporting a positive experience for guests and employees. The role is suited to a dedicated, hardworking, customer-service-oriented outdoor enthusiast.

The supervisor helps provide a friendly environment for guests and staff, fills in as a lift operator when needed, supports scheduling and daily assignments, and helps ensure paperwork is complete and accurate. The role also includes training staff, communicating operational needs, and ensuring lift stations are set up and maintained to standard.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a lift operations lead or supervisory role.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with management and crew.
• Ability to access all mountain locations by skiing or riding at an intermediate level.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass an insurance driving history inquiry.
• Ability to travel between the Activity Barn and Brundage Mountain.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
• Open availability and ability to work weekends and holidays if scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Help provide a friendly and positive environment for guests and staff.
• Fill in as a lift operator when needed.
• Bump chairs.
• Ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed.
• Help with scheduling and assigning daily lift duties.
• Help ensure all daily paperwork is completed entirely and accurately.
• Help train new and returning staff.
• Communicate operational needs, including paperwork, tools, and needed repairs.
• Know how load and unload stations are set up and maintained, and direct operators in maintaining those standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
