About The Position

The Big Lift Operations Attendant helps ensure guest and equipment safety while guests use lifts and lift-assisted attractions. The role involves greeting, supervising, and assisting guests; operating lifts; and supporting equipment and grounds maintenance. Attendants promote safe lift use and provide a positive guest experience through teamwork, mutual respect, and reliable service.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to deal effectively with guests.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to shovel and remove snow from lift areas.
Ability to work in constant 28-degree temperatures for long periods.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Willingness to speak in front of large groups.
Positive attitude and commitment to great service.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide guests with accurate and reliable information.
Greet and interact with guests.
Operate lifts, including loading and unloading guests and scanning.
Assist with equipment and grounds maintenance and standard operating procedures as necessary.
Bump chairs and shovel snow.
Educate guests about safety, proper lift use, best practices, and techniques.
Acknowledge and advocate for guest needs related to their Big SNOW experience.
Follow and enforce safety procedures for team members and guests.
Perform other duties as assigned by a Blazer/Guide.
