About The Position

Sunday River is seeking a Lift Operations Supervisor who enjoys working outdoors and is team- and customer-oriented. The supervisor performs daily routines to start the lifts and supports the lift operations team. The role also involves interviewing applicants and training new Team Members, with a focus on safety, guest service, and Team Member support.

Requirements

• Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

• Prior ski resort and Lift Operations experience; supervisory experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections.
• Maintain proper snow surfaces at lifts.
• Set up lift corrals.
• Maintain safety signage.
• Perform general carpentry and repairs to ramp structures and lift houses.
• Provide snowmobile transportation to Team Members.
• Interview potential candidates.
• Train Team Members.
• Complete paperwork and workflow assessments.
• Assist with operating lifts and ticket checking.
• Cover breaks for lift operators and perform other assigned tasks.
