About The Position

Legum and Norman is hiring a Lifestyle Director for its 55+ active adult community in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The role plans, coordinates, and executes lifestyle programs and events to support resident engagement and quality of life. It also provides administrative support to HOA operations, including resident communications, amenity coordination, and ensuring activities align with governing documents and community standards. The position calls for strong organization and attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to support both lifestyle initiatives and operational functions.

This is an on-site position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional nights and weekends depending on community events. The annual salary is $65,000–$70,000, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in lifestyle programming, event planning, hospitality, or community engagement.
• Ability to successfully plan, coordinate, and manage resident programs, events, and activities.
• Experience creating and managing budgets.
• Experience performing administrative tasks using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, follow up effectively, and communicate updates to all involved.
