About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is hiring part-time Lifeguards to help maintain a safe and enjoyable waterpark environment. Lifeguards enforce waterpark rules, monitor pools and slides for hazards, communicate attraction requirements and safety concerns to guests, and respond to emergencies with water rescues, first aid, or CPR as needed. The role also includes assisting with ride opening and closing procedures and maintaining park cleanliness. Lifeguards are expected to provide friendly, courteous guest service and work as a team in keeping with the Kalahari Promise to Lead with Love. Candidates who are not already certified will complete a three-day certification course. The role is listed at locations in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin; Sandusky, Ohio; Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania; Round Rock, Texas; and Spotsylvania County, Virginia.

Requirements

Must be at least 15 years of age.
A collaborative leadership style rooted in respect and service to others.
Candidates who are not certified lifeguards must complete a three-day certification course.

Responsibilities

Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
Participate as a team and follow the core values and service expectations in the Kalahari Promise.
Assist with opening and closing waterpark rides and maintaining park cleanliness.
Communicate attraction requirements and safety concerns to guests.
Conduct water rescues and administer first aid or CPR as necessary.
Stay alert and regularly inspect pools and slides for hazards or safety risks.
