About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking part-time Lifeguards to help maintain a safe and enjoyable waterpark environment. Lifeguards enforce waterpark rules, monitor pools and slides for hazards, communicate attraction requirements and safety concerns to guests, and respond to emergencies with water rescues, first aid, or CPR. They also assist with opening and closing waterpark rides and maintaining park cleanliness. The role emphasizes responsive, courteous guest service and teamwork grounded in Kalahari's Promise to Lead with Love.

Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Demonstrate a leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
• Work as part of a team and follow the Kalahari Promise's core values and service expectations.
• Assist with opening and closing waterpark rides and maintaining park cleanliness.
• Communicate attraction requirements and safety concerns to guests.
• Conduct water rescues and administer first aid or CPR as necessary.
• Remain alert and regularly inspect pools and slides for hazards or safety risks.
