About The Position
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all patrons at our aquatic facility.
Requirements
- Certified Lifeguard with current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
- Ability to stay alert and attentive for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Perform rescues and administer first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the pool area and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patrons and team members.
