About The Position

This role focuses on driving self-serve growth for Ignition through product-led growth (PLG) and lifecycle marketing. The specialist will be responsible for trial-to-paid conversion, lifecycle email marketing, retention strategies, and managing the AI chatbot experience on the company website. The role involves directing AI agents for marketing automation and content management, rather than manual campaign creation. While agent-led, the specialist will still be involved in reviewing drafts and maintaining the knowledge base that powers these agents. The position requires genuine curiosity and a drive to develop fluency in AI-driven operations.

Requirements

  • Real lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or product-led growth (PLG) experience at a SaaS company.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and agent-led operations; excitement to build fluency and use it to own more of the funnel.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a similar marketing automation/CRM platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Amplitude or similar experimentation/analytics tooling.
  • An owner's mindset, using data to drive decision making and deliver results.
  • High ownership mentality: caring about outcomes, not just activity.

Responsibilities

  • Own PLG / self-serve conversion, including trial activation, onboarding, and the self-serve roadmap with Product.
  • Manage lifecycle and retention marketing, including nurture, onboarding journeys, reactivation, and segmentation, using the Lifecycle Agent.
  • Own the Lifecycle Agent's content/knowledge base (themes, audiences, hooks, and calls-to-action).
  • Own AI-Chat, the website's conversational AI assistant, ensuring its accuracy, responses, and prospect routing to sales.
  • Define agent governance, audit output regularly, and maintain accountability for all outputs within the domain.
  • Partner cross-functionally with RevOps/Marketing Ops, Product, and Product Marketing.
