Lifecycle Marketing Manager

Color HealthSouth San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Color is revolutionizing cancer care with the nation’s first Virtual Cancer Clinic, delivering high-quality, physician-led multidisciplinary care across all 50 states. Our innovative, guideline-based approach spans cancer screening, risk assessment, prevention, diagnosis, treatment support, and survivorship. In addition to personalized direct medical care, our services include cancer genetics risk assessment, nutrition, mental health support and at-home cancer screening diagnostics. Using technology-driven, patient-centric solutions, Color is transforming how employers, unions, health plans, and governments address cancer. Color’s goal is to close critical cancer care gaps, improve cancer outcomes, and guide patients with empathy through their healthcare journeys. About the Role: Color's ASCO Certified oncology care programs are designed for one of the most complex and human moments in healthcare: helping people through an active cancer diagnosis, through treatment, and through the years that follow. The Engagement Marketing team is seeking a results-driven Lifecycle Marketing Manager to take full ownership of the end-to-end experience for these members, including cancer survivors and the family members and caregivers supporting them. This role requires someone who can hold two things at once: rigorous analytical judgment and genuine care for an audience navigating the hardest moment of their lives. You will own how these members first learn that Color can help them, how they experience their earliest interactions with our program, and how that relationship deepens over months and years. You will design across the full set of touchpoints that shape that experience, including digital, but thinking beyond digital to the creative, human spaces. You will partner closely with our product, design, and clinical teams, working alongside Color Medical Group to ensure every touchpoint is clinically sound, appropriately timed, and worthy of the moment it meets someone in. You will also work with customer success and our commercial teams to bring this experience to employers and health plans in a way they can see and understand. This is a data-forward role. You will be expected to answer your own questions with data rather than waiting for someone else to answer them for you. This role reports to the Director of Engagement Marketing and offers meaningful ownership in a growing and deeply impactful area of Color's business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in lifecycle or member experience marketing, with direct ownership of enrollment or engagement performance.
  • Strong analytical fluency and comfort working independently in the data.

  • Deep hands-on expertise in Braze, with the ability to build complex multi-channel journeys independently.
  • Comfort designing and interpreting experiments in small populations, where traditional testing approaches do not always apply.
  • Exceptional writing skills and the judgment to communicate with people navigating a cancer diagnosis clearly and warmly.
  • A bias toward action in ambiguous, fast-moving work.
  • Proven ability to move work forward with product, design, and clinical partners, including within a medical review process.

Nice To Haves
