About The Position

Time Doctor is hiring a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own the marketing-led customer journey from the moment an account starts paying. You will decide who hears what, when, based on which behaviour, and toward which commercial outcome. Your job is to turn customer behaviour and usage signals into adoption, retention, expansion and reactivation revenue, and to run that engine AI-first, building agents and agentic workflows that do real work. Time Doctor is a workforce analytics platform that gives distributed teams the visibility they need to improve trust and performance. We serve remote, hybrid and outsourced organisations worldwide, with particular strength in BPO, healthcare and tech services. We are bootstrapped, profitable and fully remote, with team members across 30+ countries. We built a durable business on customer revenue rather than venture capital, and we are now focused on growing it.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years in lifecycle, CRM, customer, or retention marketing at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Track record of designing and running behavior-triggered customer journeys with owned adoption, retention, or expansion outcomes.
  • Ability to work from product usage and account data to define segments, propensity, and churn logic.
  • Ability to specify scoring and routing (even if GTM Ops builds it).
  • Fluent in a marketing automation or lifecycle stack (e.g., HubSpot) and cohort analysis.
  • Experience running expansion, cross-sell, or renewal-support programs.
  • Experience coordinating opportunity handoff with CS and Sales.
  • Clear understanding of where lifecycle marketing ends and Growth/CS begin, with ability to work cleanly across these lines.
  • Hands-on experience building agents or agentic workflows that do real work, with ability to demonstrate what has been built and its function.
  • Remote work capability with a minimum four-hour daily overlap with US Eastern (ET) business hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Product-led SaaS experience.
  • More than four hours of daily overlap with US Eastern business hours.
  • Background in workforce analytics, time tracking, HR tech, or productivity software.
  • Experience marketing to BPO, outsourcing, healthcare, or tech services customers.

Responsibilities

  • Own the lifecycle marketing program for paying customers, including onboarding, ongoing communications, segmentation, and expansion/retention plays.
  • Design, brief, QA, and measure lifecycle marketing journeys, owning the revenue outcome.
  • Drive adoption of key capabilities and education, including TD Academy and educational webinars.
  • Manage the day-0 handoff, ensuring the trigger and data enroll new customers in the correct journey.
  • Segment paying customers based on profile, product usage, engagement, lifecycle stage, adoption state, expansion propensity, and churn risk.
  • Design, build, and QA journeys and triggers for specific cohorts.
  • Develop and execute expansion and cross-sell plays to grow existing accounts.
  • Co-define expansion signals with Growth and CS, and route qualified opportunities to Sales and CS.
  • Implement proactive plays against at-risk cohorts, provide air cover for CS retention efforts, and re-engage dormant or churned accounts.
  • Execute value-recap and air-cover campaigns timed to the renewal window.
  • Manage audience, segmentation, timing, and orchestration for customer newsletters, webinars, feature/release communications, and in-app announcements.
  • Identify advocates and trigger review, referral, testimonial, and reference asks.
  • Manage review-site presence and market case studies.
  • Analyze performance across all journeys, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement AI-driven workflows for segmentation, signal interpretation, journey building, comms drafting, propensity/churn scoring, cohort analysis, and drop-off detection.

Benefits

  • Profitable and bootstrapped company.
  • Opportunity to work with talented people in 30+ countries.
  • Equal opportunity employer, valuing diversity and inclusion.
