About The Position

Aegis Living Kent is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and creative Life Enrichment Assistant to help create memorable experiences for residents and families. The assistant works alongside the Life Enrichment Director(s) to design and conduct activities, support community events, and develop engaging enrichment programs. The role includes a variety of resident activities, outings, and events, while maintaining a professional and caring attitude. The position is full-time and offers a stated pay range of $21.00–$23.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Caring and compassionate attitude.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to use computers, TVs, apps, and other electronic devices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with seniors in assisted living or a related field is preferred.
• Musical background, art background, and experience in event planning for seniors are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, facilitate, and conduct activities for residents alongside the Life Enrichment Director(s).
• Assist in coordinating community-wide events, including themed parties, holiday celebrations, and hosted speakers.
• Create new and innovative enrichment programs and activities, maintaining a commitment to high-quality standards for residents.
• Participate in activities such as painting and pottery, lunch outings, shopping trips, sporting events, card games, exercise, puzzles, games, and movies.
• Maintain a professional and caring attitude toward residents.
