About The Position

Aegis Living Bellevue Overlake is hiring a Life Enrichment Assistant to help create meaningful experiences and lasting memories for residents and their families. Working alongside the Life Enrichment Director(s), the assistant designs and facilitates activities, helps coordinate community events, and develops creative enrichment programs. Activities may include arts and crafts, outings, games, exercise, and entertainment. The role calls for a caring, professional attitude toward residents.

The schedule is full-time, Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The listed pay range is $21.00–$22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Caring and compassionate attitude.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to use computers, televisions, apps, and other electronic devices.

• Experience working with seniors in assisted living or a related field.
• Musical background.

• Experience planning events for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Design, facilitate, and conduct activities for residents alongside the Life Enrichment Director(s).
• Assist in coordinating community-wide events, including themed parties, holiday celebrations, and hosted speakers.
• Create new and innovative enrichment programs and activities while maintaining high-quality standards for residents.
• Participate in activities such as painting, pottery, lunch outings, shopping trips, sporting events, card games, exercise, puzzles, games, and movies.
• Maintain a professional and caring attitude toward residents.
