About The Position

Aegis Living Kent is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and creative Life Enrichment Assistant to help create memorable experiences for residents and their families. The assistant works alongside the Life Enrichment Director(s) to design and conduct resident activities and help coordinate community-wide events. The role includes a variety of enrichment activities, such as arts and crafts, outings, games, exercise, and movies, while maintaining a professional and caring attitude toward residents. The position is full-time, with a stated pay range of $21.00–$23.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Caring and compassionate attitude.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to use computers, TVs, apps, and other electronic devices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with seniors in assisted living or a related field is preferred.
• Musical background, art background, or experience planning events for seniors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, facilitate, and conduct activities for residents alongside the Life Enrichment Director(s).
• Assist in coordinating community-wide events, including themed parties, holiday celebrations, and hosted speakers.
• Create new and innovative enrichment programs and activities while maintaining high-quality standards for residents.
• Participate in activities such as painting and pottery, lunch outings, shopping trips, sporting events, card games, exercise, puzzles, games, and movies.
• Maintain a professional and caring attitude toward residents.
