About The Position

Our Licensing team is responsible for ensuring that all Benefit Advisors meet regulatory and carrier requirements before servicing customers. As a Licensing Administrator, you will support end-to-end agent readiness processes, including state licensing and carrier appointments. You will work with cross-functional partners to maintain compliance, improve processes, and ensure a seamless onboarding and readiness experience for advisors. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, and are comfortable working with large datasets
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute end-to-end licensing and/or carrier appointment processes for an assigned group of Benefit Advisors or carrier partners
  • Support the state licensing process, including screening candidates for eligibility, preparing onboarding documentation, and coordinating exam preparation and scheduling
  • Submit and track insurance license applications across all states, maintaining communication with Departments of Insurance to ensure timely approvals
  • Coordinate fingerprinting requirements and ensure all regulatory steps are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor and maintain license renewals and continuing education requirements to ensure ongoing compliance across all systems
  • Oversee carrier appointment processes, including preparing high-volume reports, tracking appointment status, and resolving delays through analysis and escalation
  • Partner with Sales, Training, and Licensing Operations teams to ensure advisors complete all onboarding and certification requirements
  • Maintain accurate advisor status records across systems to mitigate compliance risk and ensure agents are authorized to sell only where permitted
  • Conduct gap analyses and identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and automation related to licensing and onboarding processes
