Part Time Licensed Vocational Nurse, LVN (PM)

About The Position

Silverado Barton Springs is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide clinical care and compassionate support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines clinical expertise, empathy, and relationship-building to help residents live with dignity and joy in a team-focused environment. The nurse serves as a liaison among residents, families, and physicians; provides clinical support and assists with daily living activities; monitors residents’ health and documents care accurately; and helps maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The position is part-time on a PM shift, scheduled Thursday and Friday or Saturday and Sunday, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The anticipated pay range is $33–$36 per hour. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program.
Active LVN/LPN license.
Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working around animals and pets.
