Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)- Part Time
About The Position
Peninsula Post-Acute is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse to join its nursing team at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Burlingame, California. The facility helps residents recover, regain independence, and achieve their highest level of well-being. The LVN provides quality, resident-centered care in a supportive, team-focused environment, working alongside experienced healthcare professionals. This is a part-time, non-benefited position with AM, PM, and NOC shifts available. The listed pay rate is $43.00–$46.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
Requirements
- Current California LVN license in good standing.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Current CPR certification.
- Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Monitor resident conditions and report significant changes.
- Complete timely and accurate nursing documentation.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, residents, and families.
- Maintain compliance with infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Promote resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
