About The Position
Join the team as a day-shift, full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Carthage, Texas. The LVN provides technical and human assistance under the direction of licensed personnel, caring for a defined group of patients to achieve quality patient outcomes. The role calls for a competent clinician who is experienced, knowledgeable, and skilled in nursing. UT Health Carthage is located in Panola County and has 23 private patient rooms. The hospital includes a 24-hour emergency department designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke-ready facility, advanced diagnostic technology, a cardiac rehabilitation program, a GI lab, outpatient clinics, and a sleep lab. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Texas licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Healthcare experience.
- Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
