About The Position

Silverado Barton Springs is hiring a part-time Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide compassionate clinical care to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines clinical expertise, empathy, and relationship-building to support residents’ dignity and quality of life in a team-focused environment. The LVN serves as a liaison among residents, families, and physicians; provides clinical support and assistance with daily living activities; monitors resident health; and maintains accurate care documentation. The role also supports a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The schedule is a PM shift on Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program.
Active LVN/LPN license.
Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfort working around animals and pets.
