About The Position

Silverado is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide clinical care and compassionate support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines medical skill, empathy, and relationship-building to help residents live with dignity and joy in a team-focused environment.

The position is part-time on the AM shift, Sunday and Monday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The anticipated pay range is $34–$38 USD. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program.
• Active LVN/LPN license.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Comfort working around animals and pets.
• Ability to perform active work involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a compassionate liaison between residents, families, and physicians.
• Provide clinical support and assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor resident health and maintain accurate care documentation.
