Full Time Licensed Vocational Nurse, LVN (AM)
About The Position
Silverado Encinitas is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide clinical care and compassionate support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines medical skill, empathy, and relationship-building to help residents live with dignity and joy. The nurse serves as a liaison among residents, families, and physicians; supports clinical needs and daily living activities; monitors resident health; and maintains care documentation. The position is full-time on the AM shift, working a rotating schedule of four days on and two days off, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program.
- Active LVN/LPN license.
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
- Able to perform active work involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working around animals and pets.

- Experience in senior care or memory care settings.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a compassionate liaison between residents, families, and physicians.
- Provide clinical support and assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor resident health and maintain accurate care documentation.
