About The Position

Silverado is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide compassionate clinical care to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines medical skill, empathy, and relationship-building to support residents’ dignity and quality of life in a team-focused environment. The nurse serves as a liaison among residents, families, and physicians; provides clinical support and assistance with activities of daily living; monitors resident health; and maintains accurate care documentation. The position is based at Silverado Thousand Oaks and is scheduled for a full-time AM shift, Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The anticipated pay range is $34–$38 USD.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program.
Active LVN/LPN license.
Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfort working around animals and pets.
