About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide nursing care on a hospital nursing unit under the direction of an RN. The nurse gathers and reports data, carries out orders, and performs therapeutic procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested. The role is listed as full-time day work in Shreveport. Requirements

Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
Current BLS certification; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
Current IV certification within 90 days of employment if required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
