About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide appropriate nursing care on a nursing unit as directed by an RN. Care and related functions must be appropriate to patients’ age and population and consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures. The LVN also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The posting identifies this as a full-time days position in Shreveport. One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required. The position requires current LPN/LVN licensure in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if applicable, and current BLS certification. BLS certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment. Current IV certification is required within 90 days of employment if state regulations require it.
