About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Licensed Psychologist for CoreCivic in Leavenworth, Kansas. This is a full-time, onsite position within an ICE detention facility housing both male and female detainees. The role involves providing psychological evaluations, assessments, and treatment, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, performing crisis intervention, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Doctoral Degree in Psychology REQUIRED
- Active, Unrestricted Kansas Psychologist License REQUIRED
- Minimum Two Years of Clinical Experience REQUIRED
- Minimum One Year in a Comparable Position REQUIRED
- Comfortable Working Onsite in an ICE Detention Facility Housing Male and Female Detainees

- Correctional or Detention Experience Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological evaluations, assessments, and treatment within a correctional healthcare setting
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for incarcerated patients
- Perform crisis intervention, behavioral assessments, and mental health rounds in segregation and specialized housing units
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, security, and multidisciplinary teams
- Coordinate psychological services while promoting patient safety and continuity of care
