About The Position

WellSecured Insurance is seeking an experienced, licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent to produce business in an established independent agency. The role receives a consistent flow of warm, qualified homeowners insurance referrals through the agency’s relationship with Independence Home Loans, a nationwide mortgage lender. The agency provides access to multiple insurance carriers through First Connect and direct appointments, including Progressive, along with established systems, referral channels, and operational processes.

The agent’s primary focus is to quote, sell, and bind policies efficiently while providing excellent service. This is a production-driven role suited to someone familiar with the independent insurance market and comfortable handling a high volume of personal-lines business. Cold calling, prospecting, buying leads, and building a book from scratch are not required. Compensation includes a base salary and production-based compensation, with total compensation stated as $85,000–$125,000 per year.

Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Previous experience working in an independent insurance agency.
• Strong knowledge of homeowners insurance products, underwriting requirements, and carrier guidelines.
• Proven ability to quote and bind policies independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience working with multiple carriers and comparative rating platforms.
• Ability to manage a high volume of incoming leads and policies efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
• Comfort working in a production-driven environment.

• Experience handling a high volume of personal-lines business.
• Ability to move quickly from receiving a lead to issuing a policy.

Responsibilities

• Quote and bind a high volume of homeowners insurance policies daily.
• Work directly with warm referrals provided by mortgage loan officers.
• Use multiple insurance carriers to find competitive coverage and pricing.
• Cross-sell auto and other personal-lines products when appropriate.
• Communicate with loan officers and borrowers to ensure policies are issued on time for mortgage closings.
• Manage multiple active quotes and applications simultaneously.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow carrier underwriting guidelines.
• Provide fast turnaround times without sacrificing accuracy or customer service.
