About The Position

WellSecured Insurance is seeking an experienced, licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent to join its growing independent agency. The agency provides an established pipeline of warm, qualified homeowners insurance referrals through its relationship with Independence Home Loans, along with access to multiple insurance carriers through First Connect and direct appointments, including Progressive. The role does not require cold calling, prospecting, purchasing leads, or building a book of business from scratch.

The agent will quote, sell, and bind policies efficiently while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. The position involves managing a high volume of personal lines business and coordinating with mortgage loan officers and borrowers to ensure policies are issued in time for mortgage closings. Compensation is a competitive base salary plus production-based commissions and bonus opportunities, with total compensation listed as $85,000–$125,000 per year.

Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Previous experience working in an independent insurance agency.
• Strong knowledge of homeowners insurance products, underwriting requirements, and carrier guidelines.
• Ability to quote and bind policies independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience working with multiple carriers and comparative rating platforms.
• Ability to efficiently manage a high volume of incoming leads and policies.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
• Comfort working in a production-driven environment.
• Experience handling a high volume of personal lines business and moving quickly from lead receipt to policy issuance.

Responsibilities

• Quote and bind a high volume of homeowners insurance policies daily.
• Work directly with warm referrals provided by mortgage loan officers.
• Use multiple insurance carriers to find competitive coverage and pricing.
• Cross-sell auto and other personal lines products when appropriate.
• Communicate with loan officers and borrowers to ensure policies are issued on time for mortgage closings.
• Manage multiple active quotes and applications simultaneously.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow carrier underwriting guidelines.
• Provide fast turnaround times while maintaining accuracy and customer service.
