About The Position

Handspring is hiring a part-time, fully remote Licensed Professional Counselor to provide pediatric and young adult behavioral health care in Pennsylvania. The role offers reduced or regular part-time caseload options, a guaranteed monthly income floor, clinical session pay, paid documentation and consultation time, malpractice coverage, and performance-based annual rate increases. Counselors choose their caseload and can maintain a private practice or other commitments alongside this role. Handspring handles scheduling, billing, and insurance so clinicians can focus on care.

Requirements

• Hold an active, independent LPC license in Pennsylvania.
• Have experience working with children, teens, young adults, and families using evidence-based treatments.
• Be comfortable using Zoom, EHR systems, and collaboration tools.
• Not be opted out of Medicare.
• Be willing to become cross-licensed in additional states.
• Be able to commit to a fixed weekly schedule of at least 8 recurring client sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly psychotherapy using CBT and other evidence-based practices to children ages 8–17 and young adults ages 18 and older, as well as parent training and support.
• Maintain a fixed weekly schedule with at least 8 recurring telehealth client sessions.
• Participate in weekly consultations and peer-led collaborative huddles.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with clients’ pediatricians, school counselors, and families as needed.
