Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Orthopedic Neurology and Spine
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care in the Orthopedic Neurology and Spine department at Resurrection Medical Center. The role requires clinical competence within the scope of practice and applicable state requirements. Working collaboratively with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN helps maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the patient experience in a medical-surgical setting. The position is full-time, overnight, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends. A sign-on bonus is available to qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply and are discussed during the interview process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure.
- IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintenance of current certification.
