Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Orthopedic Neurology and Spine
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care services in the Orthopedic Neurology and Spine department at Resurrection Medical Center. The role requires clinical competence within the scope of practice and compliance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN helps maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience in the medical-surgical setting. The position is full-time and scheduled for day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., working 12-hour shifts, in Chicago, Illinois. A sign-on bonus of $7,500 is available for qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply, with details discussed during the interview process. Compensation is estimated at $31.00 to $40.00 and includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure.
- IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current certification.
