Licensed Practical Nurse LPN 10000 Bonus
About The Position
Lakeside Generations is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to support positive outcomes. The nurse assists and supports the Director of Nursing and contributes to a team-oriented, nonprofit senior care community. The position is available part-time or full-time. Part-time day shifts run from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; full-time evening shifts run from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The schedule includes working every other weekend and every other holiday. The wage range is $27 to $31.33 per hour, depending on experience. Shift differentials are $3 per hour for evenings and $4 per hour for nights. Bonuses are $5,000 for part-time and $10,000 for full-time.
Requirements
- Hold an active Minnesota LPN license in good standing.
- Have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Be a self-starter with a desire to be part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Display a courteous attitude and respect for residents, families, and staff.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and monitor their effectiveness and residents’ responses.
- Manage medications, supplies, and equipment, including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of items in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Document care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
- Notify the Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident’s condition, and take follow-up action as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as required.
