LPN Licensed Practical Nurse 10000 Bonus
About The Position
Hastings Senior Health & Living, a Cassia community, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care to older adults. The LPN administers medications and treatments, supports residents through personalized care plans, and collaborates with a dedicated team to promote positive outcomes. This role is available full-time or part-time and includes varying schedules, including every other weekend. Available shifts are days from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (full-time), weekends from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (part-time, every other weekend), and nights from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM (part-time). The wage range is $27.89–$36.26 per hour based on experience. A bonus of $5,000 is offered for part-time employment and $10,000 for full-time employment. Hastings Senior Health & Living is a 72-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Hastings, Minnesota. The community provides expert nursing services and personalized care plans in a close-knit setting. Requirements
- Current Minnesota LPN license in good standing.
- Long-term care work experience.
- Two years of LPN experience.
- Strong data collection skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively.
- Passion for providing quality nursing care to older adults.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate resident care plans.
- Recognize and manage common geriatric conditions.
- Supervise TMAs and Nursing Aides.
- Maintain respectful, professional interactions with residents, families, and staff.
- Administer and monitor medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Manage medication and supply inventory according to policy.
- Document care using electronic charting systems.
- Communicate significant changes in residents’ conditions to appropriate parties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
