About The Position

This position provides licensed nursing services to residents in an assisted living community, following Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines. The LPN administers medications in compliance with federal and state regulations, may conduct admissions and assessments, and completes care or service plans. The role may also support clinical tracking, such as wounds or infection control, under the director's direction. The LPN responds to health-related concerns and emergencies, communicates changes in residents’ health to physicians and family members, maintains documentation and confidentiality, and works closely with other departments and staff. The position may include discharges, assessments, and additional clinical documentation as needed.

Requirements

• Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program.
• At least 1 year of experience in senior care or a related field.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• English proficiency sufficient to perform job duties, communicate with supervisors and coworkers, and respond to emergencies.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle critical situations calmly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in compliance with federal and state regulations and company guidelines.
• May admit new residents, including completing admission assessments and documentation.
• Complete acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
• May track clinical matters, such as wounds or infection control, under the director's direction.
• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of changes in residents’ health and document appropriately.
• Respond quickly to emergencies.
• Maintain close communication with departments and staff members.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• May handle discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed.
