About The Position
AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the 2026-2027 school year in Eagle Point, Oregon. This role involves providing direct nursing care to two elementary students with medical needs, including independent tracheostomy management. The position offers a structured healthcare plan, oversight from the district's school nurse, and a consistent Monday through Friday schedule. It is ideal for an LPN experienced in tracheostomy care who values collaboration and independence.
Requirements
- Completion of an approved practical nursing education program.
- Active Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing.
- Prior tracheostomy care experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability to independently clean, manage, and support a tracheostomy.
- Ability to provide nursing services within the individual scope of LPN practice.
- Strong collaboration skills and an interest in school-based nursing practice.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to students throughout the school day according to their healthcare plans.
- Independently clean, manage, and support a tracheostomy, requiring care approximately every hour.
- Communicate with the school nurse and school team regarding student needs, services, and changes in health status.
- Follow student healthcare plans and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising school nurse.
- Perform assigned nursing services independently during the school day.
