About The Position
Teacher Substitute for the 2026–27 school year. Substitutes are employed on an at-will basis. Applicants must complete the application and District Safety Training, be fingerprinted before beginning service, and complete all required personnel paperwork before starting. Personnel paperwork may include a driver’s license, Social Security documentation, diploma, and/or transcripts. Applicants must meet one of the listed education or certification pathways.
Requirements
- Complete an application.
- Attend District Safety Training.
- Be fingerprinted before beginning service as a district substitute.
- Complete all required personnel paperwork before starting; this may include a driver’s license, Social Security documentation, diploma, and/or transcripts.
- Meet one of the following: have a high school diploma or GED; have a college degree without a Texas teaching certificate; or have a Texas teaching certificate and a college degree.
