About The Position

Saint Mary Home is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join its nursing team. The nurse participates actively in resident care, leads the interdisciplinary care team to ensure residents’ needs are met and choices are honored, and delivers safe, quality patient care. The nurse is also part of a designated care team and collaborates with team members to achieve goals. The Charge Nurse directs and supervises the nursing assistants assigned to the unit.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
• Recent clinical experience in long-term care or acute care.
• Excellent observation skills.
• Teamwork skills.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities
