About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides hands-on, patient-centered care under RN supervision at University Hospitals Avon Rehabilitation Hospital. The role supports treatments, assessments, and individualized care plans to help patients move toward healing and stability. The LPN provides bedside care, administers medications, supports patient assessments and rehabilitation interventions, and promotes safety through timely documentation and quality-focused care. The position is full-time, day shift.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Nice To Haves

• IV Certification is highly preferred; otherwise, it must be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities
