About The Position

North Alabama Shoals Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for rehabilitation. The LPN contributes to patient care by assessing patients, identifying needs, initiating nursing interventions, and providing care appropriate to each patient's condition and age. The role includes timely medical-record documentation, completion and revision of each patient's Interdisciplinary Care Plan, and accurate quality-improvement assessments. The schedule is PRN.

Requirements

• Current state LPN license.
• Basic Life Support certification within 14 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient's condition and age.
• Complete timely and appropriate medical-record documentation relating to medical necessity.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate quality-improvement assessments.
