About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Clinic Tier 2 provides nursing care in a clinical setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or advanced practice provider (APP). The role focuses on safe, patient-centered care in compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, supporting optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations. Tier 2 LPNs use fundamental clinical skills and frequently apply moderate to advanced clinical skills and knowledge in specialized or high-complexity settings, with additional training and skill validation as needed. The position includes direct patient care, administrative functions, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The LPN provides compassionate, respectful, and effective care while practicing within the scope established by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

This is a full-time, day-shift position in Adena Health’s ENT Clinic in Chillicothe. The stated schedule is 7:00 AM–4:30 PM. Hourly pay is based on years of nursing experience and education.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Successful completion of Adena skills assessment and written test annually.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• 1–2 years of medical office experience.
