Assisted Living LPN / 7am-3pm
About The Position
Richland Place Retirement Community is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Assisted Living team in Nashville, Tennessee. The role is suited to a caring, compassionate nurse who enjoys connecting with patients and their families and working in a family-oriented, team-based environment. The nurse maintains clinical competency through the application of nursing knowledge and skills, leadership, and communication, and uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement patient care. The position is full-time, with eight-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pay is up to $35 per hour based on years of experience, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employees. The employer hires GNs and GPNs as well as licensed LPNs.
Requirements
- Tennessee LPN nursing license; the employer also hires GNs and GPNs.
- Caring and compassionate demeanor, good communication skills, a positive attitude, and ability to work as a team player.
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, and/or long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain clinical competency through the application of integrated nursing knowledge and skills, leadership, and communication.
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement care.
- Organize workflow and prioritize tasks to meet patient-care needs.
- Apply current standards of practice and local, state, and federal regulations related to nursing services in patient care.
- Use continuous quality improvement thinking and problem-solving skills.
