About The Position

The Assisted Living Nurse Manager is a full-time leadership role for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The position leads and supports nursing and direct care staff, provides exceptional resident care, and helps maintain high standards of clinical quality and regulatory compliance. The role includes coaching and developing staff, coordinating clinical operations, and fostering a positive, accountable team culture in a collaborative, mission-driven community.

Requirements

• Current South Carolina LPN license in good standing.
• At least one year of experience in assisted living, long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior care.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Sound clinical judgment.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership, guidance, and support to nursing and direct care staff.
• Foster a positive, accountable, high-performing team culture.
• Onboard staff and conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective action.
• Coordinate staff education, training programs, and competency development.
• Oversee resident rounds and the delivery of quality clinical care.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, assessments, and care planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, hospice providers, home health agencies, residents, and family members.
• Guide staff in maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation, managing physician orders, and administering medications.
• Ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement efforts.
• Respond promptly and professionally to concerns from residents, families, and team members.
