About The Position

As a nurse in the assisted living community, you’ll be an essential part of the care team, providing hands-on nursing care, supporting residents’ health and well-being, and ensuring dignity and respect. You’ll also serve as a resource and leader to caregivers, helping create a supportive and collaborative environment. Full-time and part-time day-shift positions are available.

Requirements

• LPN or RN licensure; one year of experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• One year of LPN/RN licensure experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administer and record medications and treatments as assigned.
• Reinforce, support, and provide health care instructions to patients and their families.
• Participate with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Observe and report patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to the appropriate individuals.
• Record observations of patients’ responses to nursing care in patient charts.
• Maintain environmental conditions conducive to patients’ comfort and safety.
• Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of a unit as assigned.
