About The Position
Community Care, Inc. is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing care for a 2-year-old child in a supportive home setting in Dormont, Pennsylvania. This full-time day-shift role is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The nurse will deliver personalized, family-centered care and work with the child’s family and care team.
Requirements
- Current Pennsylvania LPN or RN license.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- At least 6 months of nursing experience; home health experience is preferred but not required.
- CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Independence, compassion, and a passion for pediatric care.
Nice To Haves
- Home health nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide gastrostomy tube (G-tube) care and feeds.
- Administer medications safely and accurately.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with the care team and family.
- Deliver family-centered pediatric care.
