About The Position
Cooperative Home Care is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide private duty nursing for an adult patient in Chesterfield, Missouri. The role supports one-on-one patient relationships in a home setting and offers flexible client options. The schedule is 32 hours per week on weekend day shifts. Pay is $32.00 to $35.00 per hour. Sign-on bonuses are available for picking up shifts; working as little as one eight-hour shift per week may qualify, with larger bonuses for taking on more hours. Cooperative Home Care has provided in-home care since 1986 and focuses on supporting field staff so they can provide high-quality care that helps patients remain at home. The company offers comprehensive classroom and on-the-job training, including training through local hospitals to prepare nurses to care for higher-acuity clients.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in the state of Missouri.
- Active CPR certification; the employer can provide a class if certification is not active.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Assist clients with home and social activities and promote independence at home.
- Complete all necessary clinical documentation.
