Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN (PRN)
About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a per-diem Licensed Practical Nurse to provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients at Idaho State Correctional Institution in South Boise/Kuna, Idaho. The LPN works under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to patients’ physical and mental health needs. The role requires a minimum of two shifts per month and completion of a full week of paid training. Shifts are as needed. The pay rate is $27–$31 per hour, depending on years of experience. Corrections experience is not required.
Requirements
- Idaho Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, or ability to obtain one.
- Active and appropriate Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Work a minimum of two shifts per month.
- Complete a full week of paid training.
