About The Position
Centurion is seeking a per-diem Licensed Practical Nurse to provide healthcare at Idaho State Correctional Institution in South Boise/Kuna, Idaho. The LPN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice and works under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff to address patients’ physical and mental health needs. The role requires at least two shifts per month and completion of a full week of training. Pay is $27–$31 per hour, depending on years of experience.
Requirements
- An Idaho Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, or ability to obtain one.
- Active, appropriate certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Work a minimum of two shifts per month and complete a full week of training.
