About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a short-term contract assignment in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care, support patient wellbeing, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Active LPN License in good standing required
- Strong communication and patient care skills required
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment required
Nice To Haves
- Current BLS Certification preferred
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and charting
- Assist with daily patient care and activities of daily living
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations
- Support a safe and comfortable environment for residents
