About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and support the nursing team in maintaining a safe and effective healthcare environment during night shifts.
Requirements
- Active LPN License required
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment required
Nice To Haves
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Assist residents with daily nursing care and support individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic medical records
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and facility regulations
